The Horizon Walking Stick is carved by hand from a single length of hardwood, its handle turning inward in a slow spiral — the shape of a wave, a shell, a life folding back on itself. At its center rests a polished labradorite stone that shifts from blue to gold as the light moves across it.
Along the shaft, mountains rise beneath a crescent moon and inlaid brass currents wind toward the horizon. Each detail is cut and finished in the studio, so no two sticks carry quite the same landscape. A discreet, sealed chamber within the shaft can hold a small measure of cremated remains, allowing a loved one to travel with you on every walk.
Made to be used and made to be kept — leaned in an entryway between walks, it reads as sculpture, and in the hand it reads as company.
